2018 Dom Perignon
We are thrilled to offer the newly released 2018 Dom Perignon. With scores of up to 99 points from the critics, this is a magnificent young Champagne set for an immense future.
The 2018 growing season was strong. Sunshine was omnipresent, yet, despite the warmth, both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir achieved exceptional quality, with the season ultimately delivering fruit of remarkable concentration, ripeness and balance.
The result is a vintage that stands apart for its combination of maturity, generosity and freshness, offering a new expression of Dom Pérignon while retaining the precision and tension for which the cuvée is renowned. As Suckling asks, is this “A new style for Dom Perignon?”
The critical response reflects the quality in the bottle. Alongside 2017, the 2018 Dom Perignonis Galloni’s highest-scoring Dom Pérignon since 2012, while James Suckling rates it as his highest-scoring vintage of Dom Pérignon in the past decade.
Galloni describes the wine as “explosive, bright and so vibrant in the glass”, adding that it “dazzles from start to finish”. Suckling is equally enthusiastic, praising its “super-integrated bubbles” and a “racy, lively finish”.

“Very floral aromas with jasmine, honeysuckle, lemons and subtle apples. Lavender as well. The medium-bodied palate has super-integrated bubbles, a touch of fine phenolics and a racy, lively finish.
