The 2019 Barolo Arborina is a bright, effusive wine. Macerated cherry, licorice, dried herbs, pine and mocha all meld together. Sensual and plush, with terrific depth, the 2019 is showing very, very well today. It’s a classic Renato Corino Barolo, perhaps a bit less exuberant than most years, but impeccable in its balance and overall harmony.
