The 2024 Meursault Goutte d’Or 1er Cru has a livelier bouquet than the Village Cru: lemon rind and orange pith, with just a hint of walnut emerging with time in the glass. The palate is very pleasant: lovely weight, a keen line of acidity, commendable purity with an effortless finish that means you barely notice this slipping down your throat. Delicious…and it may improve further in bottle.
