The 2024 Chardonnay Pemberton shows its impressive class immediately with a brooding core of pineapple, crab apple and pithy citrus wrapped in a cloak of nutty barrel ferment and spicy oak. The palate offers excellent flavor density and composure, still youthful and closed, with prominent flinty elements, while the underlying power and length are undeniable. It just needs time.
