We are delighted to start the week with a special collection of Jerome Prevost’s champagnes, La Closerie!
Nestled in his cosy cellar near Reims, he lovingly crafts small batches of extraordinary champagnes, producing fewer than 1100 cases per year. But Jérôme isn’t just a winemaker; he’s a true Renaissance soul. When he’s not making champagne, he expresses his passion through painting, sculpting, and photography, infusing his wines with a touch of artistic magic.
La Closerie is a one-of-a-kind approach, where the focus is on:
- Showcasing the unique personality of Pinot Meunier, a true underdog grape.
- A single cru, Les Béguines, where terroir takes centre stage.
- Capturing the essence of each outstanding vintage, celebrating Mother Nature’s gifts.
- A once-a-year disgorgement, ensuring the wines mature and harmonise to perfection.
