NV Emmanuel Brochet, Le Mont Benoit Extra Brut [LR18]
35 bottles (x75cl) @ SGD$ 270/ bottle (inc GST $291.60)
“I love Emmanuel Brochet’s Champagnes, even if I don’t drink them as often as I would like, due to the tiny production, and the just-released NV Extra-Brut Le Mont Benoit (L18), derived entirely from the 2018 vintage, did nothing to diminish my enthusiasm, as it’s showing brilliantly. Offering up inviting aromas of crisp orchard fruit, blanched almonds, honeycomb, walnuts and fenugreek, it’s medium to full-bodied, concentrated and precise, with a fine-boned but intensely flavored profile, complemented by a beautiful pinpoint mousse. Brochet is the master of intensity without weight, and this wine exemplifies that.”

2020 Domaine Chavy Chouet, Puligny Montrachet Champs Gain 1er Cru
90 bottles (x75cl) @ SGD$ 160/ bottle (inc GST $172.80)
“This too is quite floral in character with its cooler aromas of green apple, just sliced citrus and a spicy top note. There is excellent punch to the delicious and appealingly textured middle weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the beautifully well-detailed, clean and dry finale. This well-made effort is sufficiently firm to require up to a decade of keeping.”
92 Points Allen Meadows – ‘Outstanding’

“Made from 35 year old vines. A light lemon touch to the colour. The bouquet is starting to open out, this is another successful Champ Gain in 2020. Excellent intensity on the palate, just the right balance between vigorous ripe fruit, white apples and pears with a little lemon touch, and good balancing crystalline acidity.”
93 Points Jasper Morris

2021 Domaine Duroche, Gevrey Chambertin
75 bottles (x75cl) @ SGD$ 135/ bottle (inc GST $145.80)
“This year, the 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village includes lieux-dits Clos, Champ and En Vosne, along with premier cru Champeaux, and the result is unsurprisingly excellent, exhibiting aromas of sweet plums, raspberries, petals and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate endowed with attractive flesh and texture.”
89/91 Points William Kelley

“The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village this year represents a blend of Le Clos, Champ, En Vosne and Les Champeaux that are usually bottled separately. It has a delicate, pure bouquet with delineated wild strawberry, cranberry and crushed stone aromas. This is nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, slightly chalky with a sustained, peppery finish. Delightful. Drink over the next decade.”

2015 Michel Chapoutier, St Joseph Le Clos
65 bottles (x75cl) @ SGD$ 160/ bottle (inc GST $172.80)
“Screaming “Granite!” at the top of its lungs, the 2015 Saint Joseph Le Clos comes from an east-facing parcel located high up on the west side of the Rhône River. Inky colored and packed with notions of blackberries, cassis, crushed rocks, graphite and violets, it’s full-bodied, perfectly balanced, elegant and seamless. With an iron fist in a velvet glove-like character, this heavenly 2015 might just be the best wine ever to come from this appellation. There’s not much of it, but don’t miss a chance to try this wine!”
99 Points Jeb Dunnuck

2016 Chateau Belair Monange
40 bottles (x75cl) @ SGD$ 210/ bottle (inc GST $226.80)
“Deep garnet in color, the 2016 Belair-Monange slowly drifts out of the glass to offer gorgeous scents of black raspberries, boysenberry preserves, and baked plums, plus suggestions of Indian spices, sandalwood, and dried mint with a hint of crushed rocks. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering mouth-filling black fruits and exotic spice layers with a velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing very long and perfumed.”
98 Points Lisa Perrotti-Brown
