2013 Domaine Bruno Clair Bonnes Mares
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 2,400/ case (inc GST $2,616)

“The 2013 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a very well defined, mineral-driven bouquet that actually bears some similarities to the 2014. It is laconic at the moment, then delivers blackberry and bilberry scents, a touch of limestone. The palate is very well defined with blood orange and a touch of bay leaf infusing the black fruit. This is very complex, more than the Clos Saint Jacques with a slightly ferrous finish that is intriguing. This is a great wine, a superb and flattering Bonnes-Mares from Bruno Clair.”

2013 Domaine Bruno Clair Chambertin-Clos de Bèze
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 2,400/ case (inc GST $2,616)
“This is as cool and restrained as the Clos St. Jacques though the nose is a good deal spicier and more complex with its mélange of floral, pomegranate, tobacco and broad range of red berry fruit scents. There is a really beguiling mix of detail, tension, power and volume to the big-bodied flavors that possess plenty of supporting dry extract on the saline, austere and beautifully balanced finale. I very much like the length but note well that this is not going to be an especially good candidate for early consumption.”

2015 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Clos de la Roche
1 case (x12) @ SGD$ 13,810/ case (inc GST $15,052.90)
“The 2015 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is excellent, opening in the glass with a complex bouquet of red and black cherry, plum preserve, grilled meat, dried ceps and espresso roast, framed by a judicious application of cedary oak (20% new). On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and firmly framed, with unusual depth and concentration for this cuvée, its ample chassis of tannins asserting itself on the firm finish.”

2016 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Chaignots
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 3,510/ case (inc GST $3,825.90)
“The 2016 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Chaignots offers up a lovely bouquet of smoky cassis, wild berries, Asian spices, smoked meats and violets. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with a velvety attack and a lavish core of vibrant fruit that entirely cloaks the wine’s rich but fine-grained structuring tannins, concluding with a long and expansive finish.”

2018 Domaine Rossignol Trapet Chambertin
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 2,320/ case (inc GST $2,528.80)
“The 2018 Chambertin Grand Cru is initially understated on the nose, unfolding with brambly red fruit, undergrowth and just a light touch of morels. Very succinct with a kind of broody intensity – but maybe a touch of Brettanomyces? The palate is well balanced with a note of sour cherry and wild strawberry on the entry. Fine precision, moderate depth, though it is not the most profound Chambertin this year. Lovely edginess on the elegant finish, give this 4-5 years in bottle. Excellent.”

2019 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vigne
2 cases (x6) @ SGD$ 1,210/ case (inc GST $1,318.90)
“This too is notably ripe but fresh with a brooding nose of various wild dark berries, warm earth and pretty floral nuances. There is again excellent energy and tension to the intense, precise and muscular flavors that display outstanding complexity and sneaky good length. This offers unusually good quality for a Gevrey villages plus it is a wine that should amply repay up to a decade of cellaring.”
90/92 Points Allen Meadows – ‘Outstanding’

2017 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 4,050/ case (inc GST $4,414.50)
“There is a suggestion of mandarin orange adding breadth to the acacia blossom and mineral reduction-suffused nose. I very much like the intensity, richness and volume of the medium-bodied flavors that are stony to the point of seeming as though you’re rolling small pebbles around your mouth, all wrapped in a citrusy and wonderfully persistent finish where a touch of wood slowly emerges. This is seriously impressive.”
95 Points Allen Meadows – ‘Don’t miss! Outstanding’

2018 Coche-Dury Bourgogne Blanc
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 2,570/ case (inc GST $2,801.30)
“Pretty aromas are comprised by spiced apple compote and citrus confit. The delicious, intense and solidly dense middle weight flavors exude a bracing salinity on the beautifully complex and lingering finish. This is a terrific Bourgogne and absolutely recommended.”

2018 Thierry Pillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots

2020 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Puligny-Montrachet
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 620/ case (inc GST $675.80)
“A markedly more floral-suffused nose offers up notes of fresh white orchard fruit and subtle spice wisps. The delicious, racy and finer medium-bodied flavors possess slightly better depth along with much better persistence. Worth considering.”
89/91 Points Allen Meadows – ‘Outstanding’

2017 Egly-Ouriet Coteaux Champenois Cuvée des Grands Côtés Vieilles Vignes Rouge Ambonnay
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 1,890/ case (inc GST $2,060.10)
“Francis Egly’s 2017 Ambonnay Rouge Cuvée des Grands Côtés Vieilles Vignes is a superb young wine, soaring from the glass with a captivating bouquet of rose petals, raw cocoa, orange rind and raspberries, framed by a deft application of classy new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with exquisitely refined tannins, racy acids and a long, pungently floral finish. This cuvée hails from a parcel of old vines in the heart of Ambonnay, where the soils are a little deeper and the slope is exposed due south. Egly performs a severe green harvest to strictly limit already-low yields and keeps temperatures comparatively low during the long maceration. The resulting wine is matured for some 20 months in barrels from Egly’s friend, Dominique Laurent.”

2017 Occidental Pinot Noir Cuvée Elizabeth Bodega Headlands
1 case (x6) @ SGD$ 1,440/ case (inc GST $1,569.60)
“One of my favorites in the lineup (but we are splitting hairs), the 2017 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Vineyard Cuvee Elizabeth comes from the estate vineyard located around the estate, lying at 400 to 750 feet in elevation. Mostly potential at this point, its dense purple hue is followed by incredibly pure notes of black raspberries, mulberries, pine forest, spring flowers, and an almost iodine/seaside-like salinity and minerality. Medium to full-bodied, with bright acidity, it’s an energetic, racy yet brilliantly balanced, lengthy Pinot Noir that’s going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for a decade. This is another thrilling wine from Steve Kistler and family.”
