Coche-Dury from Blanc to Rouge
Known as the ‘King of Meursault’, Domaine Coche-Dury is one of the world’s leading figures for the vinification of white wines but also produces highly sought-after rouges. The domaine’s red wines, including Monthelie ( 0.25 ha) and Meursault (0.12 ha) from Côte de Beaune, are crafted with time-honored methods: prolonged lees contact, bâtonnage, and fermentation in mostly new oak casks. These wines are aged 15-24 months before being bottled unfiltered, resulting in a harmonious blend of vibrant acidity and rich complexity, without sacrificing elegance.
Today we are thrilled to offer the Meursault red 2018 as well as the Monthelie red 2020 and 2021. Critics say: “This too is very impressive for what it is…The gorgeously textured…This is also particularly good for its level.”

Coche-Dury also ages select cuvées from the Hospices de Beaune, such as the Pommard Cuvee Suzanne Chaudron 2019 and Corton Cuvee Docteur Peste 2020 that we have on offer today! These wines embody the domaine’s philosophy, showcasing intense fruit, minerality, and the distinctive toasty notes of Coche-Dury, all while supporting the charitable endeavors of the Hospices de Beaune.
