We are excited to offer you a re-release from one of the benchmark producers of Rioja wine, the 2010 Rioja Gran Reserva, ‘890’, La Rioja Alta S.A. Their Gran Reserva is only produced in exceptional years and continues to be amongst the finest wines produced in Rioja. 

2010 has been heralded as their best vintage of recent times for Rioja, and this has been highlighted by the Gran Reserva “890” scoring a near-perfect 99 points from Suckling.  As such we are thrilled to be able to offer you a mix of formats today. 

For Suckling the 2010 Rioja Gran Reserva ‘890’ flirts with perfection at 99 points and is “really refined and complex, with dark mineral, savory berries, mussels, walnuts, sweet spices, truffles, dried oranges, forest floor and cocoa powder” with “beautiful acidity with vertical and velvety tannins”.
