Tsukuriwake, meaning “artisanship through the diversity of making,” captures the spirit of innovation and craftsmanship that defines Suntory’s approach to blending and distillation.

What’s included in the set:

• Yamazaki Golden Promise; made from the iconic Golden Promise barley, which was first grown in Scotland in the 1960s. This varietal is revered for its flavour and malting characteristics.
• Yamazaki Mizunara Aged 18 Years; complex, rich and elegant whisky, where fruit, spice and wood notes engage to create something very special. This is one of the most popular bottlings out there.
• Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt; a symbiosis of Islay’s famous smokiness with Yama’s characteristic sweetness.
• Hakushu Peated Malt Aged 18 Years; long famed for their expert use of peat, Hakushu once again releases a fan favourite. Expect demand!

Under the direction of Suntory’s 5th Generation Chief Blender, Shinji Fukuyo, this series pushes the boundaries of whisky making. Fukuyo has utilized unique ingredients, wood, and processes to expand the previous Tsukuriwake range, highlighting the diversity inherent in whisky craftsmanship.

The collection highlights different elements of whisky production, from barley variety to peating levels and cask types, offering a profound exploration of Yamazaki and Hakushu whiskies.
