We are excited to offer you the latest 2023 vintage Kumeu River today. The Chardonnays made by New Zealand’s Kumeu River are one of the wine trade’s best inside tips. These are sensational and can give very good white Burgundy a serious run for its money, yet they remain absolute bargains.
All lines receive incredible scores given the price tags with Suckling giving the Rays Road Chardonnay 94 points and speaking of its “flavorful finish”.
The “fresh, crunchy and clean” Estate Chardonnay got 93 points from Suckling and the River Village Chardonnay received 90 points from Erin Larkin for whom it is “ a really great entrée to the world of Kumeu River”. Finally, the Crement received 93 points from Suckling earlier this year who outlined it as “a fresh and minerally sparkling wine with sliced apple, brioche and lemon character”.
