Meticulous Winemaking & Pinot Noir Mastery

The winemaking here is superb, and no producer is more meticulous. The Chardonnay is superb, but Egly Ouriet is the house when it comes to Pinot Noir. For Richard Juhlin, Egly is “Probably the foremost grower of Pinot Noir in the entire Champagne region nowadays”. What this means is the proverbial iron fist in the velvet glove.
