The 2020 Forman Cabernet Sauvignon absolutely shone as a team tasting last night. This is a sophisticated and beautifully balanced Napa Cabernet that (whisper it) probably should be a lot more expensive. At the equivalent of just under £55 a bottle in bond, this is a steal and comes very highly recommended.
The case and attention to detail here are incredible. Forman employs a classically Bordelaise vertical trellis system in the vineyards and attends to each vine an amazing 16 times throughout the harvest. This ensures that the grapes receive the perfect amount of exposure to the sun. The result is fantastic wines that are beautiful to drink and, even better, punch well above their price point.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, deep wine that marries elegance and finesse in a way few people can do, like Ric Forman. Rich and sumptuous in the glass, with terrific depth, the 2020 has so much to offer. Black cherry, mocha, licorice, spice, incense and new leather are all dialed up.
