We are delighted to offer a well-priced parcel of Spain’s most famous wine, Vega Sicilia Unico, in magnums and thought you might have interest. From the 2012 vintage, so, now armed with over a decade of maturity, this is a lovely Vega Sicilia in the making and a great wine to own in magnum format. 

Unico needs little introduction. The flagship of Vega Sicilia almost single-handedly put Spain on the fine wine map and is found in the finest restaurants and cellars. It’s always fantastic and has a consistent quality and capacity to age found in only the best wines on the planet.

The Unico is excellent. For Luis Gutierrez, it is worthy of 95 points, while James Suckling gives it 97 and says, “I like the intensity to this, with dark tar and smoky notes followed by graphite, tobacco, bitter cacao and dark fruit”. For Vega Sicilia collectors, it’s a compelling option.
